The young man and the old soul,
Find a way in the day to make the soul glow,
Time turns into an oh no, Solo lessons- stressing for the no go,
But what did we learn though,
Time heals all wounds,
But it burns slow,
At least for a minute,
Finding your peace or at least your forgiveness,
Why are we livin, why with the eyes that you're given,
Realize we rely on our vision,
Besides all the lies and the gimmicks,
And we could be fried any minute,
And we could even fly,
Why define just defying your limits,
I’m surprised we survived to the finish,
Guess that's a guess game, Don't rest,
Press play, be blessed and test fate,
The best can escape, don't stress regret na-than,
I'm pacin,
And even though it's hard to see the stars through the atmosphere,
And all the crap this year that happened here,
And though I wrote this song with a half a tear and half a beer,
And fighting all the things that we had to fear,
Lost love and loved ones that passed this year,
Dreams in the sky that are crashing here,
Hope comes back alive like elastic here,
Making magic of tragic fears,
We may laugh but we had to cheer,
We past due,
The light that's bright in their eyes and that's you,
Love, hugs, kind words and that's two,
Good souls in a cruel world,
Changing minds til a new world,
The dreams that it seems that we all get,
Gambles in the game that we all bet,
Travelers on the road all weary,
Horizon hazy maybe come clearly,
Beer me please, hearing these, tears-
That were nearly free, cuz life aint what appears to be,
In your face whether space or the heavens,
Peace to the least when you're facing the present,
Yesterdays rain and tomorrow's pain,
Voice to the choice that we gotta maintain
